Meet Our Executive Team

Sam Al-Awar

Vice President

Mr. Al-Awar is Vice President of ioMosaic’s international office in the Kingdom of Bahrain. As a seasoned industry professional with 30 years of experience, he excels in client satisfaction and overall operations. Mr. Al-Awar has led cross-functional teams of creative professionals in rendering qualitative service delivery, generating project sales, and identification and development of new markets. He has a consistent history of streamlining operations by utilizing and implementing processes aligned to company standards and clients’ needs, thereby ensuring quality, excellent customer service and profitability. Mr. Al-Awar is fluent in Arabic and English; limited in French and Spanish.

Business Management and Operations Experience

  • Spearheaded regional business operations through a large, diverse team of technical and administrative staff members.
  • Involved in recruitment, grooming, and mentoring of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Motivated and developed team members, resulting in resolution of issues and improvement in team cohesiveness and overall performance.
  • Optimized resource utilization to maximize productivity.
  • Led a team of sales consultants involved in generating business from utilities, government, hospitality, and long-term healthcare services sectors.
  • Led a team of technical consultants on security systems for the government sector (police stations, municipalities, recreational facilities, etc.).

Project Management Experience

  • Initiated and set-up a major expansion plan for the USA, which included five phases to establish a total of 100 clinics (permanent and satellite clinics).
  • Distinguished for setting up 14 clinics within 2 years in the USA as a part of business development/expansion initiative. Saved $3,475,000 through reduction of average cost of each clinic establishment by 44%.
  • Undertook market/demographic studies for identification of markets for future clinics.
  • Developed and implemented strategies aimed at retention and enhancement of existing market share in the GCC.
  • Participated in selection of tools and medical systems, IT hardware/software systems, telecommunication (Nortel BCM 200 and 50 Systems), BMHC – Boston Medical Health Centre proprietary clinic management and billing system and other offices related products to ensure smooth functioning of operations.
  • Acquired significant exposure in projects involving implementation of JAVA Messaging Service (JMS) Server and Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs).
  • Worked on system integration projects to facilitate integration between client back-office systems (ERPs) and Marex Marine e-Marketplace.
  • Involved in definition of functional and technical requirements, system design, testing, QA, and administration.
