This two-and-a-half-day course will provide experienced process safety and risk engineers with the ability to improve their productivity and work faster using Process Safety Office® SuperChems™ v10.0 software.

Attendees will be taught using the new user interface and will learn about updated consequence models, and the improved reporting functionality. Practical examples and industry case studies will be demonstrated for completing relief sizing, flare header modeling, and consequence modeling in the new software. Attendees will get an in-depth view of its advanced features within vessel dynamics, including emergency depressurization and interlined equipment. Users will enjoy better usability and shorter calculation times performing pressure relief and flare system (PRFS) evaluation and design.

New Features and Functionality

The new SuperChems™ X (v10.0) features a redesigned graphical interface – interactive and responsive – adopting the latest technology. Leveraging strength from the rigorous engine, SuperChems™ X offers significant streamlining of data entry requirements, centralized reporting, and ease mechanisms to navigate users easily through the work process. New databases with common PRV/RD manufacturers and National Board Pressure Relief Device Certification NB-18 have been incorporated, prompting quick look-up and data inputs as well as upgraded help structure.
