Help AIChE run local programming, share information and resources, and participate in community outreach efforts. The AIChE Foundation has established a fund to help support the local chemical engineering communities in Texas, Louisiana, and the surrounding regions after the devastating damage left behind in the wake of Harvey. Tax-deductible donations will have an immediate impact by providing funding to AIChE’s local sections and student chapters to help them come together and run local programming, share information and resources, and participate in community outreach efforts.
As it can be very difficult to communicate with one other during these times, AIChE has set up a special community within AIChE Engage, their online discussion platform. The hope is to facilitate a dialogue between those affected and those in the chemical engineering community who can help with requests for housing, food, supplies and office space and any other needs they may have.
