Mr. Sarno focuses on quantitative risk assessment (QRA) and facility siting for chemical companies. While not working on facility siting studies, he performs pressure relief and flare system (PRFS) design and analysis for large petrochemical corporations and utility companies. He has also acted as a process hazard analysis (PHA) leader and scribe for PHA revalidations for research and development-sized chemical processes. Mr. Sarno brings years of experience with Process Safety Office® SuperChems™ and Institute of Makers of Explosives Safety Analysis for Risk (IMESAFR) for QRA-based facility siting studies. He adheres to facility siting guidance as recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEPs) from API 752, API 753, and Chemical Industries Association (CIA) to ensure compliance with the OSHA PSM Standard. Mr. Sarno is a memeber of the National Honor Society for Chemical Engineering, Omega Chi Epsilon and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
