Natural Gas Transportation Company, United States
We developed and conducted an eight-hour training session for project managers regarding the environmental permitting requirements and processes for the natural gas pipeline construction. The technical session covered all pertinent requirements of the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act. We also provided guidance to these corporate managers regarding research and planning methods needed to ensure compliance with environmental statutes and regulations at the state level. The technical session also familiarized the construction project managers with the most critical project-planning milestones, with respect to project-specific environmental documentation and decision-making.
Leading Manufacturer of Chemicals, Fertilizers, Plastics, and Metals, Middle East
We completed a five-day training course onsite covering the practical aspects of pressure relief and flare system design, from identifying over pressure scenarios, to thermodynamic principals, to quantifying relief rates.
Energy Company, Middle East
ioMosaic provided two separate training courses onsite covering quantitative risk analysis (QRA) and the use of SuperChems™ software for conducting QRA, facility siting, and relief systems sizing. Both courses were of five days duration and provided attendees with a thorough understanding of the concepts presented. The SuperChems™ software training course incorporated significant hands-on learning opportunities and used real-life examples to enhance understanding.
International Food Company
We led a dust PHA training for an international food and beverage company, which included understanding current standards and RAGAGEPs, identifying and characterizing dust hazards, explosion and protection methods, setting up a PHA team, applying multiple PHA methodologies, and completing fault tree analyses (FTAs).
Explosive Manufacturer, United States and Abroad
Prior to training ioMosaic professionals conducted audits at six of the manufacturer’s U.S. locations, and one international location, to assess the client’s performance against process safety management (PSM) regulations and recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEPs). We then provided PSM Implementation training for representatives of each location. The training included the following PSM elements: process safety information (PSI), process hazard analyses (PHAs), management of change (MOC), pre-startup safety review, asset integrity, and operating procedures.
