Introduction

Process Safety Information (PSI) is the foundation of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Process Safety Management (PSM) 29 CFR 1910.119 standard. The standard requires compiling specific information (PSI) in section "d" for the regulated highly hazardous chemicals, process technology, and process equipment. Operating procedures in section "f" must be consistent with the compiled PSI, and routine updates are required as a result of Management of Changes (MOCs) in section "l."
