Dr. Cronin is a senior technical authority, supporting corporate, engineering and operating asset teams. He has over 30 years wide-ranging process safety consulting experience within major operating and contracting companies, encompassing petroleum exploration and production, petroleum refining, chemicals and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, public and industrial utilities and general manufacturing (e.g. steel, automotive, foodstuffs).

Dr. Cronin has managed and facilitated numerous and diverse risk management projects including process hazard analyses, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, functional safety (SIL and LOPA) studies, operational risk and policy reviews, litigation support, accident investigations, process safety audits and due diligence programs. He has also developed and delivered process safety training for process and facilities engineering professionals. He has worked extensively throughout Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, within a wide variety of multidisciplinary and multinational team environments.
