The Risk Management Program (RMP) underwent substantial amendments that were announced by the EPA on March 11, 2024, and was enacted on May 11, 2024. This in-person workshop, co-organized by ioMosaic and Farley & Partners LLP, addresses the EPA’s changes to requirements related to facility siting.
At this in-person event, presenters Dr. Georges Melhem and Devon Downs will cover the key aspects and the challenges to the new regulatory requirements. In the ruling, the EPA rule refers to facilities (or “stationary sources” under the CAA) as the placement of processes, equipment, buildings within the facility and the hazards posed by proximate facilities, and accidental release consequences posed by proximity to the public and public receptors.
