The EPA recently published significant revisions to the Risk Management Program (RMP), which took effect on May 11, 2024. To help facility owners and operators continue to understand and develop implementation strategies for the new RMP requirements, ioMosaic and Farley & Partners LLP are holding a series of in-person workshops.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Houston, TX, the workshop (our third in a series of three) will address the EPA’s new requirement to conduct a Safer Technology Alternate Analysis (STAA) undertaken as part of a facility’s process hazard analysis (PHA), a requirement for companies in the Petroleum Refining and Chemical Manufacturing sectors.
The STAA evaluation must include consideration of safeguard hierarchies:
For some facilities, there is also the additional requirement to perform a Practicability Assessment.
Join ioMosaic and Farley & Partners LLP as they provide an overview of key aspects and challenges presented by the updated facility siting requirements. Presenters Dr. Georges Melhem and Devon Downs will lead the workshop as the co-presenters.
Seating is limited, register now.
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM CDT Tuesday, December 10, 2024
