Large-Scale Test Series from CGA 42 ft3 High Pressure Blowdown Data

A series of large-scale field trials to better understand the issues with silane storage and use were conducted under the direction of the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) and Air Products at the Energetic Materials Research and Training Center (EMRTC) in New Mexico. Silane is pyrophoric and can theoretically ignite in bulk. The potential accumulation of flammable silane is key to effective hazard management of bulk storage installations.
