Ms. Coon is a CSP Certified Safety Professional with over 30 years of experience in process safety and health, and safety and environment (HSE) management. Her extensive background includes compliance, process safety, project management, continuous improvement, quality management, and environmental regulations. She has implemented global asset integrity and electrical safety programs, led global process safety, and audited globally for Environmental, Health and Safety and process safety. Created, trained, and led an Asset Integrity and Reliability Program for eight years; implemented at 108 facilities when the program was started. Revised corporate mechanical integrity procedures to include LOPA independent protection layers (IPLs) for high risk scenarios as critical equipment to better identify high hazard equipment. Updated corporate procedures to define global critical equipment to better identify high hazard equipment. Monitored progress and performance of plants through direct contact, review of measures, and audits to ensure compliance with the process safety regulations and process safety policies and procedures.
